I posted last Friday and here I am at the start of another weekend. I’m not as hopeless as I was feeling last weekend. However, I’m still not happy to spend yet another weekend alone & wondering how much longer I have to live like this in this season of longing & waiting. I just came across a post on Instagram post that was about one of the new songs by Elevation Worship called “Another One.” It was encouraging. It said: ‘Another One' is a prophetic song for anyone who's been sowing, praying, and waiting on God. He has an abundance of ways to meet all of our needs, & He's promised to work all things for our good. We hope this song inspires you to believe that miracles are still ahead for you and open doors are in front of you." - Chris Brown, Elevation Worship

I just love that because I absolutely have been SOWING, PRAYING, & WAITING ON GOD 🤍 And I know He is going to keep His promises! There is evidence already of God’s goodness in other areas of my life. Other answered prayers. For one, my son started finally going to church with me after 7 years since October. God led me to re-start to volunteer with our church’s Youth Group & it’s already been bringing me so much joy. I’m finding that passion again for ministry, knowing God gave me that Calling. Yesterday, I heard from a position I applied for at a Christian school. I had my first interview today and it went really well. I have a really good feeling about that door opening. These may sound like small things, but they are big things to me. Nonetheless, I’m just still waiting on God to answer this ongoing desperate prayer for my guy & our relationship. Today marks 108 days of praying my list of scriptures & this Sunday will be Week 13 of prayer w/ the women on our church’s prayer team. The most recent I found myself adding this week are:
Psalm 56:3 added 4/14/24
“When I am afraid, I will put my TRUST and FAITH in You.”

“In the morning, O LORD, You hear my voice; at daybreak I lay my PLEA before You (yes I have been pleading w/ You God!) &WAIT in expectation.”
