I normally post on the first of the month. Today is Day 529 of saying all my prayers for my guy, our situation, and my son. And today, I found out my guy has leukemia. He is starting rounds of chemotherapy tomorrow.

Please pray for his complete healing. Please pray that God is with the doctors, nurses, and every hand that touches his care. May the chemo treatment do only what it’s meant to do — destroy the sickness and preserve all that is good and strong within him.

Please pray that he encounters God’s love and feels that He is present with him every step of the way. That he feels God is closer than ever before. Please pray God wraps him in peace when the nights are long and the days are hard. I pray God will whisper truth to his heart and calm his mind when fear creeps in. I pray he knows that he is not alone — not for one second.

Please pray for HOPE to anchor his soul, and for him to find unshakeable FAITH to sustain him through this difficult time. Please pray God reveals his purpose in the suffering and that it changes the trajectory of his life.
