Jesus is Lord (1st Corinthians 12:3). Please pray that those in the Body of Christ (like myself) take note of the executive order in the United States criminalizing poverty. If God thinks it a crime to be homeless then why does the Bible say "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." {Matthew 25:40}? The order directs states to send houseless people to mental institutions, substance abuse centers, or jail. Many poor people are just poor. Despite this, the order fails to provide housing for those who go through any of those options, leaving jail as the most likely place people will eventually find themselves.
