Lord Jesus Christ,
You see this quiet, stubborn fear in my heart: “What if what I save is swallowed up? What if it doesn’t matter?” You know where that fear comes from: years of seeing blessing slip away, years of living by reaction instead of rest. And yet, You promise me (and my two kids and husband and family members) something greater: “I will rebuke the devourer for your sake… and all nations will call you blessed.” (Malachi 3:11) So today, Lord, I surrender this fear into Your hands. I confess: my security has never truly been the numbers in an account, but Your faithful love that never runs dry. I ask You now: Guard what I set aside in faith. Let every dollar planted become a testimony of Your protection and Your abundance. Remind me that even if what I save is ever used for a need, it is still Your provision: not wasted, not in vain. Teach my heart to see saving and investing not as idols, but as vessels for Your blessing. And when my mind whispers, “What’s the point?” Answer for me, Lord: “I am your Provider. Your efforts are not in vain.” May peace settle over my anxious thoughts. May Your Spirit silence the fear of loss. And may me and my family see that with You, nothing given in faith is ever truly lost. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Reminder: The Bible is full of this pattern: Joseph stored grain → God still blessed Egypt with survival.
Proverbs says, “Go to the ant… it stores its provisions” → but still, the Lord brings the harvest.
The widow poured oil into jars → God multiplied it miraculously.
My planning creates a vessel; His miracles fill it. In Jesus Mighty Name we pray, Amen. Hallelujah, thank You Jesus!
