This holiday, pray God remind His Church of the warnings in James chapter 5, Luke 1:19-31, and Matthew 25:31-46 so our members avoid eternal pitfalls rather than fall for shiny things in this life. Ask He instill in us humility and the spirit of generosity He demonstrated through Stephen in Acts chapter 6 so we will be a beacon of God's love in these troubled times. Finally, pray for those in need of this generosity as millions in the US compete with each other for food and rental assistance.
